A little bit about me..

In 2019 I started studying Digital Media Art at San José State University, a multidisciplinary program centered on creative and speculative innovation, where I built my art and design skills and learned to apply them across different contexts.
In 2021, I participated in the Design Track of the IBM Accelerate program, which taught me important foundational skills in design. This was also my first introduction to UX design and Enterprise Design Thinking.
In 2022 I studied abroad at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd within the interaction design track, which turned out to be one of the best and most fruitful opportunities I took.
I learned an incredible amount about digital design, expanded my global perspective, and got to join a wonderful community of designers and creatives.
In the time before I graduated, I took opportunities to get involved in my community.
I attended creative jams, designed a marketing campaign for the City of San Jose's homelessness response program, and became an assistant artist for one of Local Color's most distinctive murals.
In 2024 I graduated and shortly thereafter I started looking for master's programs that taught human-centered design using hands-on practical applications.
With the HCI Joint-Master at FH Salzburg and PLUS as my top choice, I started my application process.
This year I moved to Salzburg and am officially a student in the HCI program!
I'm excited to take on real-world design challenges that will inspire my studies and expand my skillset as a designer.
